About Us

Who Are We?

CogScreen, LLC is committed to the development and publication of high stakes cognitive testing software to support aviation psychology, clinical trials, the airline industry, fitness testing, and academic research. We work with a team of cognitive scientists, pharmaceutical researchers, academics, engineers, and software developers to provide reliable and valid tools for computer-based cognitive assessment.

Our History

30 years ago, work was initiated to develop CogScreen-Aeromedical Edition, a computer-administered and scored cognitive screening instrument. The instrument was originally designed for the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to rapidly assess deficits or changes in attention, immediate and short term memory, visual perceptual functions, sequencing functions, logical problem solving, calculation skills, reaction time, simultaneous information processing abilities, and executive functions. We have continued to update and revise CogScreen to improve timing resolution, add normative data, improve useability, and to implement technological advances.
